How to book the Pokémon Cafe (Tokyo or Osaka)
The short version: this isn't a monthly drop — it's a daily one. Every single day at exactly 18:00 JST, the booking system opens the slot for exactly 31 days from that day, and it's typically gone in 1-2 minutes.
Before 18:00 JST
- Bookmark the official booking page — third-party "VIP booking" services exist but charge a premium and aren't necessary if you're ready at 18:00 JST.
- Do the timezone math ahead of time: 18:00 JST is 9:00 in the UK, 1:00 (previous day) on the US West Coast. Set an alarm, not a reminder — the window is measured in minutes.
- Have your target date, party size, and payment ready before the clock hits 18:00 — every second matters.
At 18:00 JST
- Refresh right at the moment sales open; log-in delays are the most common reason people miss out.
- Tokyo's location reopened recently after renovation and is in especially high demand right now — Osaka can sometimes be easier to get.
If you miss it
- Cancellations reopen instantly and remain possible right up until 22:00 JST the night before your target date — checking back periodically, especially the evening before, is a real strategy, not a long shot.
- If your dates are flexible, checking every day at 18:00 JST for a few days in a row meaningfully improves your odds versus a single attempt.
